I am Ruth, a full time Family, Maternity & Newborn Photographer based in Henley on Klip, Johannesburg.

I love the softness of natural light and beautiful light surroundings. I completely believe in the beauty of simplicity, I truly believe that less is more!!

My Happy Place is with, a good cup of coffee and spending time with family and friends….. I have 2 beautiful little people that keep my life full and busy . I am married to the most amazing man, he is my pillar of strength and the best father I could ask for our kids, I would never be able to chase my dreams and do what I love if it wasn’t for his support and encouragement.. I am truly blessed!!!

Why did I become a Photographer?  

I have a true respect and love for people….. I have always worked in an admin corporate environment, but never felt fully satisfied. I just didn’t feel fulfilled… I am a real people person and I have been told I make people feel really comfortable while taking their photos.  

I love holding little Newborn babies I am lucky to get a little cuddle, I enjoy the anticipation of Maternity shoots the unknown and excitement of a new mom to be. 

I was lucky enough to one day decide to just take the leap of faith and give photography a chance… and here we are a few years later. I am completely humbled at what I have achieved up until now, but it would not be possible with out an amazing support structure and such lovely people I get to meet and work with every day

             I love God and I believe what you do on to others will be done unto you, treat people how you would like to be treated.
